Kim Kardashian has been sporting an ultra-sparkly ring on her finger following a romantic birthday trip with Kanye West, leading many sources to conclude that the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star was engaged.

But is Kim Kardashian really planning her third walk down the aisle with Kanye West?

The reality star has made no secret of the fact that she views boyfriend Kanye as 'The One' - the pair even go under the moniker 'Kimye now - but, when asked directly about her new "engagement" ring, she explained that she doesn't comment on personal gifts.

But, when talking to E! Online, Kim Kardashian finally broke her silence, revealing the truth behind the sparkling ring on her finger. And she explained that Ryan Seacrest, who recently hinted that Kanye West was planning to propose, MIGHT have got the wrong end of the stick:

"I don't know where Ryan came up with that... Ryan, I'm so mad at you, where did you come up with that? You're starting rumors."

Kim then went on to confirm that all the rumours about her and Kanye West's engagement remains just that: rumours.

"It's just a rumour... But I had an amazing birthday, very intimate and very special."

Phew! We were beginning to get a little worried that Kimye were busy planning their wedding while the reality star was still legally married to ex-hubby Kris Humphries. Now that would have been awkward...
