Kanye West makes lasting impact on fans before Tigers-Yankees game rains came

DETROIT, MI - Several Metro Detroiters appeared Wednesday to meet Kanye West in downtown Birmingham at a downtown eatery called Social Kitchen & Bar.

West, according to WDIV-TV, was reportedly in town to watch the Tigers-Yankees game, a contest that got rained out.

It's unclear if West planned on going to Thursday's rescheduled Game 4 of the American League Championship Series at Comerica Park.

The first pitch is scheduled for 4:07 p.m.; the game is expected to be broadcast on TBS.

Initial posts from Metro Detroiters on Twitter claimed West's girlfriend, Kim Kardashian, was with him in Birmingham.

There were even a few posters who claimed they met the co! uple.

But the WDIV-TV report didn't mention Kardashian, and none of the photos found online of fans with West include ones with Kardashian.
