Kanye Wests infatuation with socialite Kim Kardashian is reportedly fizzling, according to the New York Post's Page Six column.

The couple first announced that they were dating in late April, but the mystique surrounding the model famous for her derriere and sex tape is allegedly starting to subside.

West has been known to date women with similar physical credentials as Kardashian -- so physical attraction isnt the problem.

Reports says that West is getting tired of the constant press that surrounds Kardashian and "he's not as tight with her as he was."

It probably doesnt help that the couple havent been living in the same city lately.

Kardashian is filming the eighth season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians in Miami. The Kardashians were spotted at Prime 122 on Sept. 30 for the anniversary of their father, Robert Kardashians, death, Hollywood Life reported.

On the same night, across the Atlantic Ocean, West was living it up at Paris fashion week, according to Page Six. He was out at a party hosted by Diane von Furstenberg and Oliver Zahm, the celebrity news site said.

However, a friend of the Kardashian family says that the rumor mill has got it wrong once again.

A source told celebrity blogger Perez Hilton:

Theres no truth that Kanye and Kim are cooling off.

is inundated with pictures of Kardashian and shes still spewing out at least 20 tweets and pictures a day, so its unlikely that theres trouble in paradise.

It wasnt that long ago that West bought his girlfriend of nearly six months an all-white Persian cat that she named after one of his songs, Mercy.

Kimye appears to be on the same track for now, theres no telling if another 72-day marriage is lurking around the corner.
