Did Kanye West and Kim Kardashian really visit Detroit on Wednesday for the Tigers-Yankees game? That's what folks on Twitter claimed. Associated Press

DETROIT, MI - Twitter was abuzz Wednesday night about what posters claim is a rumored visit from celebrity couple Kanye West and Kim Kardashian.

Why would these two visit Detroit in the middle of October?

Several posters claim they're here to watch Game 4 of the American League Championship Series between the Tigers and Yankees at Comerica Park.

Mlive Detroit had no way of confirming their visit by 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, while the game was subject to a rain delay, but we found plenty of tweets claiming they were in town.

There's even a photo from one poster who claimed she saw West in Birmingham.
