Kanye West's 'White Dress' probably isnt about Kim Kardashian, but at least it's RZA-approved

When a few lines of Kanye West tune White Dress surfaced this summer, rumour was the track was all about Wests girlfriend, Kim Kardashian. The world would soon see a sequel to A Very Kardashian wedding, and Yeezy? Hed be playing the Kris Humphries role hopefully to better reviews.

Well, a preview of the songs here. (The track, which will appear on the upcoming Man With the Iron Fists soundtrack, surfaced via rapper Pusha Ts website.) And while were not discounting the possibility of West ever forming a union with the E! Network (and, er, Kardashian) for richer and richer still, in sickness and in health, Wests 60 seconds of uninterrupted flow dont exactly scream Kimmy K. Unless they broke up months ago and forgot to Tweet us the news.

In the preview, West gets nostalgic about a certain someone who got away and fittingly, the production is something of a soul-sampling throwback to his earlier material.

You the type of girl that probably deserve a new last name, but they never let us do our thing/ Everybody lying on who I bang/ We was on fire, but they blew our flame/ Aint no denying baby, you have changed, he raps on the verse.

RZA, who directs and stars in The Man With the Iron Fists, also produced the films soundtrack, and he told the Huffington Post a bit about Wests contribution while walking the red carpet at the BET Hip Hop Awards this fall.

[It's] basically talking about, you know, some of these girls, you know, you want to make a wife out of them. But they got to get it together, RZA told the outlet after rapping a bit of White Dress himself.

Kanyes a dope lyricist, RZA ! told MTV News on the same red carpet when asked about White Dress. But what he did on this particular song, it aint 16 bars, hes going like how Ghostface goes, he continued. Like, 40 bars, just goin. Hes goin and hes killin it, yo!

Listen to a short preview of White Dress below. (Another track from the Man With the Iron Fists soundtrack, the Black Keys and RZA collabo The Baddest Man Alive, also surfaced today. Check that out below, too. The soundtrack arrives Oct. 23.)
