Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West is having a pretty significant impact on current girlfriend Kim Kardashian's personal life as she has revealed her new pussycat is named after one of his records.

According to Kim K, her new pet shares the same name as Yeezy's buzzing "Mercy" G.O.O.D. Music anthem.

Kanye West is certainly rubbing off on Kim Kardashian. Earlier today, Kim K took to her Twitter and revealed the newest member to the family--a Teacup Persian. The kitten is named Mercy, which shares the same name of West's recent single off the G.O.O.D. Music compilation Cruel Summer. She and Mercy were hanging out at her family-owned Dash boutique in Miami. She shared several pictures of Mercy posing on Instagram. (Complex)

Recently, Yeezy raided Kardashian's wardrobe with his personal style assistant to help give Kim a fashion makeover.

In a new teaser clip for "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," Kanye and his stylist take over Kim's massive closet, as he outfits her with apparel to his liking and forces Kim to say goodbye to anything that offends his sensitive sensibilities. It's not that Kim didn't need a makeover, but it's problematic to hear her say "I'm literally crying," as Kanye goes through her clothes deciding what needs to go in the donation pile. The 35-year-old! rapper clearly cares what people think of him and his girlfriend. While she's being fitted by his stylist, Kanye tells her, "I like that top, it's like 'Yo, I'm getting on best dressed lists now. I'm stepping all into this territory.'" There's a odd moment during the fitting session where Kim asks Kanye if her breasts would look better pushed up and he tells her, "No, because I like natural looking. Earlier this summer, Mr. West admitted his "Perfect B*tch" record is an ode to Kardashian.

Kanye West has the perfect chick and he's not afraid to brag about it. After previewing unreleased music at NYC's PH-D Rooftop Lounge early Saturday morning ("around 1:30 a.m."), West took to Twitter to confirm one song in particular, reportedly named "Perfect B*tch," is about his girlfriend Kim Kardashian. G.O.O.D. Music's Common recently gave his thoughts on Ye's current love life.

"Oh man, they are great -- they are a great match," said Common, one of Kanye's best pals and musical partners, when asked about the famous romance during the Season 2 premiere of AMC's Hell On Wheels.
