I have a sweet spot for all things emo, which includes moms and Kanye West. Therefore that's why I was drawn to this rare footage of 'Ye and his late mother, Donda West, rapping together back in 2003.

In the clip above, via Pigeons and Planes, Mama West and Kanye are hanging out, talking about his lost rhymes, and both rapping one of his in particular that she was a fan of.

After she asks 'Ye where the song she "loved" ended up, he drops a gem in saying, "Nah, it's good. That shows you if you have a rap that actually means something it's good. It stands the test of time if you say something."
