Kanye West Skips Paris Fashion Week

Kanye West will not be showing his Dw by Kanye spring/summer 2013 collection at Paris Fashion Week this year, and representatives for the brand cannot say whether or not his line will continue.

Anna Wintour, Lindsay Lohan and the Olsen twins have all been seen in the front row at Yeezy's past shows, but the rapper's foray into fashion has been a rocky road. West has shown his past two collections -- autumn/winter 2012 and spring/summer 2012 -- in Paris, although his s/s 2012 set was met with poor to mediocre reviews.

A representative for the line's PR firm, Karla Otto, spoke to WWD, confirming that West would not be showing at Paris Fashion Week. The rep reportedly declined to say, however, if the line would be discontinued.

West also recently teamed up with famed shoe designer Giuseppe Zanotti to create a line of pearl shoes. He and girlfriend Kim Kardashian are rumored to be working on a new line of shoes together.

Paris Fashion Week began Monday, Sept. 24, and continues through Oct. 3.
