Kanye West takes jabs at Mitt Romney in new song, "To the World"
Kanye West couldnt keep his mouth shut for long in regards to this years presidential campaign and decided to voice his opinion on President Obamas running mate, Mitt Romney.
G.O.O.D. Musics first compilation album Cruel Summer isnt set to be released until September 18. However, the album leaked online last Thursday and one of the most talked about tracks was To the World featuring vocals from R&B great R.Kelly.
MTV reports that Ye sounded off on the record saying, I be all up in Goldman Sachs like these nas tryna hold me back, these nas tryna hold me back/Im just trying to protect my stacks/Mitt Romney dont pay no tax, Mitt Romney dont pay no tax.
Kanyes verse comes as a rebuttal to Nicki Minaj, who rhymed about being a Republican and voting for Mitt Romney in Lil Waynes Mercy freestyle. She later confirmed that the song was done in sarcasm.
Comedian Iman Crosson is team Obama as well, putting out a spoof of the hit song by Chief Keef, I Dont Like, which also takes jabs at presidential hopeful Mitt Romney according to SOHH.
Kanye wanted to shed light on the fact that Romneys taxes are in question, seeing that he has been scrutinized for not paying taxes.
