Prince William, Harry want Kanye West for Queen Diamond Jubilee show?

Kanye West and P Diddy are reportedly at the top of Prince William and Prince Harry's wishlist for The Queen's Diamond Jubilee Concert.

Gary Barlow has been tasked with organising the event, which will take place around the Queen Victoria memorial in front of Buckingham Palace on June 4.

However, the Take That star revealed that he will have to go over to the United States to persuade a roster of big names to perform at the show after receiving requests from the royal princes.

Barlow told The Mirror: "I've got to go to America because some of the requests I have are from the princes, so there are acts I've got to follow up on.

"I try to meet all the artists because then they feel more engaged, they're more in tune with what's going on."

He added: "I know as an artist myself, often you turn up at these events and you don't really know what they're for, or what it's about.

"It's so vital that everybody knows how important this event is for Britain. So I'll try to meet everybody."

Sir Elton John, Sir Paul McCartney, Dame Shirley Bassey and Jessie J are among the artists confirmed for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee concert.

It will be broadcast live on BBC One, BBC One HD and BBC Radio 2 in the UK, while American viewers will be able to watch exclusive highlights the following day on ABC.
