Kanye West to make film?

Do you ever find yourself wondering what Kanye West might get up to in his spare time? Well, when he's not storming acceptance speeches at award shows or claiming to be the next Steve Jobs, that is.

Well, according to sources, the hit rapper has sent some of his lackies out on location to scout for a setting for an upcoming short film he plans to release, obviously.

It has been reported that West's scouts spent time with government officials and the head honcho's of film companies to try and pick the perfect location, which is then said to have led to a bidding war for the project. A source says,

"In Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Doha all of the film initiatives are government controlled...A bidding war is going on between various government entities and private investors to fund the film. There's pretty intense rivalry here between Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Qatar. They all want to claim the film as their own and take credit for generating the publicity."

The source claims that the reason for Kanye's movie is to "bridge the cultural divide" by revealing the shocking lifestyles of a large population in The Middle East. The source went on to say,

"His reps seemed genuinely enthusiastic about creating a piece which highlights the culture accurately. There's a lot of preconceived notions and stereotypes about Emiratis and Qataris, which Westerners often play up...They discussed how Kanye is looking to bridge the cultural divide and break misconceptions."

Well, we're very interested to see what Kanye comes up with! What do you Heatworld Citizens think?
