KANYE West flew out of the country yesterday destroying the dreams of a legion of pretty young things spotted backstage clamouring for his attention during the RnB singer's Aussie concerts.

Although he was photographed with only one PYT during his tour - Harper's Bazaar stylist Christine Centenera, a woman who looked to be pushing her own wardrobe to great lengths to gain some press attention during an outing with West to a men's fashion store last week - from the smoky backstage tour green rooms has come word of the many female visitors who lined up to visit West's private quarters.

Kanye West's fashion debut panned

Centenera, boyfriend Josh Goot nowhere to be seen, was spied slipping out of West's dressing room at the Sydney Entertainment Centre following his Sydney show but it seems likely the couple spent at least some time discussing fashion.

Centenera, reports the fashion mag for which she works, has been collaborating with the singer on the design of a women's fashion capsule bearing his name, although it has also been reported elsewhere that British designer Louise Goldin is designer of the collection.

Harper's confirmed Centenera, former bestie of Lara Bingle, flew twice monthly to Europe last year (at Wests' expense we presume) to work on the collection which is yet to materialise.

Also keen to spend time with West during his Sydney tour was yet another Sydney stylist, Pip Edwards.

Edwards, who is rumoured to be in line for a role as a fashion reporter on Channel 10's new breakfast show, was seen enjoying a cigarette backstage after West's show.

Another hanging with West's entourage was MTV publicist Milly Gattegno.

We hear the women were left swooning after their brushes with West and informed that the real action took place in a downstairs room in the Entertainment Centre in a room decked out to resemble a hotel suite where young models lined up to meet West and impress him with their winning personalities.
