Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music compilation 'Cruel Summer' out in August

Kanye West has given a release date to his upcoming compilation project for G.O.O.D. Music.

A collection of new tracks featuring all of the artists signed to his label, Cruel Summer will be released on August 7.

The likes of Mr Hudson, Pusha T, 2 Chainz, Kid Cudi and Big Sean will feature on the album, along with West himself.

West's 'Mercy' is the only song that has been unveiled so far from the album.

An experimental film also titled Cruel Summer received its premiere at last month's Cannes Film Festival.

Earlier today, it was claimed that West is interested in producing an album made completely from atmospheric jungle noises.
