Kanye West changes title for 'Theraflu' to 'Way Too Cold'
The song will now be known as 'Way Too Cold', with record label Island Def Jam stating that the change was a "creative decision".
The track had faced criticism from cold and flu medicine company Theraflu for the use of its name, and it is currently unclear if they forced the title change.
The company had previously stated: "We in no way endorse or approve of the references or use of the image and likeness of Theraflu in this manner."
'Way Too Cold's artwork has also been slightly altered, with the Theraflu bottle being painted out in place of a white bottle shape.
PETA had also heavily criticised the track for both its lyrical content about cruelty to animals and the use of a fur coat in the artwork.
The song was leaked online on Wednesday, April 4, and features DJ Khaled.
West's new single 'Mercy' is the first to be lifted from his GOOD Music album, which is expected to be released later this year.
The rapper is rumoured to be dating Kim Kardashian, whom he mentions in the lyrics to 'Way Too Cold'.
