As the media continues to focus on speculated couple Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, new reports claim despite recent accusations, they never cheated on their former lovers for one another.

According to reports, their friendship dates back nearly ten years and reached an intimate level as of late.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have been dating for roughly two weeks, but it's a relationship 8 years in the making ... TMZ has learned. According to our sources, the two have been friends since 2004 -- and have flirted on-and-off -- but the timing was never right to pursue a relationship ... until now. We're told both sides always felt a spark, but they NEVER acted inappropriately while Kanye was with Amber Rose ... or while Kim was with Kris Humphries. In fact, we're told Kim was recently kicking around the idea of reconciling with Reggie Bush ... but after hanging out with him in Miami a few weeks ago, decided the two weren't compatible anymore. Kim finally reconnected with Kanye in Paris when she attended his fashion show ... and shortly after that, both sides decided to "give dating a shot." (TMZ)

For the second time this week, Kim Kardashian was photographed leaving her new boyfriend's New York apartment. Kim and rapper Kanye West have taken their romance public, with Kanye publicly declaring he fell in love with with the reality star in a rap song. Kim was asked about the relationship in an interview with on Friday and explained that she and Kanye had been friends for a long time, and that there's no telling with the future holds. (RumorFix)

Reports of their recent outing landed online a few days ago.

Their Manhattan romp continued Thursday night when Kardashian, stunning in sky-high black heels and a creme-colored blouse, dined with the rapper and three friends, including makeup artist Joyce Bonelli, at Cafeteria. Looking happy together at the trendy Chelsea eatery, they shared a plate of fried chicken, waffles and macaroni and cheese. "They entered through a secret door and dined in Cafeteria's brand new [private dining room] to have some privacy," a source tells PEOPLE. "Kim and Kanye sat together, and she kept taking pictures of him on her cell phone. It was cute." The source adds: "They had fun, but were very low-key." (People)

To make things steamier, Kardashian was also spotted sporting a hickey-like mark on her neck this week.
