50 Cent Co-Signs Jay-Z & Kanye West's 'Throne' LP, "I Learned To Like Some Of Those Songs Now" [Audio]

G-Unit leader 50 Cent recently gave his opinion on Jay-Z and Kanye West's platinum-selling Watch the Throne album and admitted the project's records have now grown on him.

Admitting he was not initially blown away upon its summer release, Fif said he has developed a liking to the music nearly four months later.

"I learned to like some of those songs now," Fif told radio host DJ Whoo Kid. "Some that didn't really matter to me when it first came out are better over time. When you really sit and listen to it, it's some cool moments I liked on it. I was waiting to hear that CD though. I was like, 'Ah sh*t. This could be crazy.' You know what I'm saying? This could really get crazy with both of them on the joint and then I listened to it and I was comfortable after hearing it. Yeah, I was comfortable because it didn't, not at that point, it didn't blow me off my feet. I did learn to like some of those joints because it didn't mean anything early on." (Shade 45)

Last January, 50 gave his pre-Watch the Throne release opinion.

MTV News caught up with fellow rap superstar 50 Cent at the Weinstein Golden Globes afterparty on Sunday, and we asked him his thoughts on the big team-up. "It should be interesting," he said. "When you've got two artists, it's a good combination, good collaborations should come out of it." (MTV)

In August, former G-Unit member Game rated Watch the Throne a seven out of ten.

"Yeah [I heard the! album]. The Swizz [Beatz] one is crazy, the Frank Ocean one is crazy too. Yeah. Some people haven't even heard it yet, that's bad. I think it's a good, good seven," Game said when asked by radio host Jenny Boom Boom to rate it from 1 to 10. "Seven. Yeah. Well, you know six points went to Kanye." ("Jenny Boom Boom")

With over 1.1 million copies sold, Jay and Ye's joint LP made it onto Rolling Stone and TIME magazine's Top 10 albums of 2011 lists.
