Kanye West To Join 'The Jetsons' Live-Action Movie?
Kanye West is allegedly in talks to become creative director for the forthcoming 'Jetsons' movie.
A live-action film based on the classic Hanna-Barbera cartoon is in development, and as a huge fan of the original series, Kanye is apparently keen to get involved.
Speaking to MTV, producer Denise Di Nove confirmed the 'Golddigger' star's Twitter declaration that he's in the running for the job.
"Kanye's always been a Jetsons fan, I think because he's so into design and he loves the design aspects," she said. "So we had a fun brainstorming conversation."
"We heard that he knew we were working on 'The Jetsons'. He reached out and said he's a huge Jetsons fan. There are a lot of Jetsons fanatics out there, especially people that are into either futuristic science or design... It was a really friendly, preliminary conversation."
However, Di Nove insisted that there is currently no deal in place, saying: "He was going to think about it more and see if he got inspired visually. He's a very visual artist."
No actors have been cast for the film yet, and it's also without a release date.
Kanye West has recently been romantically linked to Kim Kardashian.
