Report: G.O.O.D. Music's 'Cruel Summer' Pushed Back

Is mid-September still considered summer? Welp, for G.O.O.D. Music it is. The label's compilation album, "Cruel Summer," has reportedly been pushed back. Amazon has the album slated for September 18.

Malik Yusef, longtime friend and contributor to Kanye West projects, says "Cruel Summer" has been held back due to "4 additional features" also insinuating Mos Def is one or more of those.

"@jascobscottnolan yeah it looks like a push back on, #CRUELSUMMER but our wish has 4 additional features has MOSt DEFinitely been granted," Yusef tweeted on August 12.

Hit-Boy told VIBE that he's en-route to Hawaii to finish up "Cruel Summer" and work on 'Ye's upcoming project. "We're going to be out there for a little bit, just helping Kanye finish up Cruel Summer and helping Kanye do his new ideas for his new stuff," Hit-Boy tells VIBE. "Just fine tuning."
