Kanye West On American Idol: Rapper Believes He Will Be A Better Judge Than Randy Jackson

We know that rappers are supposed to be confident but it appears that Kanye West is just a bit too much following the reports that the rapper believes he will be a better judge than veteran American Idol star Randy Jackson.

According to HollywoodLife, an insider claimed: "He was talking s*** the other day about he [looks] better than Randy and how played out his dawg act is.

Luckily the insider inisted that the rapper, whose foray into reality TV started when he appeared in an episode of girlfriend Kim Kardashian's family show, Keeping Up WIth The Kardashians, was only joking!

Phew!

The source added: "He was just f***ing around though because [he's] cool with Randy. Its all love. Randy [is] a true G in the music game, and Kanye [has] nothing but love for [him.]

Kanye has become the latest celebrity to be linked to the role to become an American Idol judge alongside Nick Jonas, Nicki Minaj, Adam Lambert and Lenny Cravitz.

It is believed that Mariah who was appointed as a new American Idol shortly after Steven Tyler and Jennifer lopez, will have final say over who joins her on the panel.

Referencing rumoured American Idol judge Joe Jonas, an insider told HollywoodLife:

"He hasn't met up with Mariah yet, but if she signs off on it, he will be the next judge. It's completely her decision. If they have chemistry, and she's for it, it will be official."
