Hear Kanye West and 2 Chainz's Ode to Bday Booty Calls, 'Birthday Song'

Back in April, rising Atlanta rapper 2 Chainz told MTV that his upcoming LP debut, Based on a T.R.U. Story, would be filled with "concepts, things you can think about ... substance." The second single from that August 14 release dropped today, and while the Kanye West-featuring "Birthday Song" may not be one to mull over, it certainly covers a subject most people (including Rihanna) do think about: getting laid on your birthday.

The beat is a collaboration between 21-year-old wunderkind Sonny Digital (Soulja Boy, Rick Ross) and West, who fittingly wind up with a swaggering mashup of high-energy trap precussives and grandiose orchestral notions. Over the track, 2 Chainz has a simple request "All I want for my birthday is a big booty call!" while Ye raps from the P.O.V. of a horny old hubby looking for something more specific:

"Ya'll been together 10 years, you deserve a mnage / Especially if you put that BMW in the garage / Especially if you paid a couple payments on her mama crib / Weren't you at niece's graduation, man I hate those kids! / Last birthday, she got you a new sweater. / Put it on, give her a kiss, and tell her, do better."

This new single is the second in a trio of on-song threesomes building hype for the full-length's release. 2 Chainz dropped "No Lie," featuring Drake and produced by Mike Will, in May. The next single is slated for early August and confirmed to be "Love Dem Strippers," starring Nicki Minaj with a beat by Drumma Boy. In April, 2 Chainz appeared on West's platinum-certified single, "Mercy."
