With six nominations apiece, Mumford and Sons, Jay-Z and Kanye West are among the frontrunners for next year's Grammy Awards.

Frank Ocean and Fun. will also compete in six categories, as will Dan Auerbach, who picks up five nominations with The Black Keys as well as a solo nod for Producer of the Year.

In the prestigious Album of the Year category, Mumford & Sons' 'Babel' will compete against Ocean's 'channel ORANGE', Fun.'s 'Some Nights', The Black Keys' 'El Camino' and Jack White's 'Blunderbuss'. Ocean and Fun. will also square up for the Best New Artist trophy, where they face competition from Alabama Shakes.

British contenders include Adele, Florence and the Machine, Calvin Harris and Ed Sheeran, while Rihanna picks up a pair of nominations and Skrillex is shortlisted for two prizes: Best Dance Recording and Best Dance/Electronic Album.

This year's Grammy Awards, held in February, saw multiple wins for Foo Fighters, Adele, Bon Iver, Kanye West and Skrillex. Meanwhile, Amy Winehouse received a posthumous prize for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for her collaboration with Tony Bennett, 'Body And Soul'.

The 55th annual Grammy Awards will be held at LA's Staples Center on February 10, 2013. See Grammy.com for a full list of nominations.
