Big Sean Launches Foundation & Joined by Kanye West at Detroit Show

Now that he's finally famous, Big Sean is giving back ... with the help of some of his famous friends. The G.O.O.D. Music rapper played a headlining show in his Detroit hometown on Saturday night that brought out Kanye West, Common, J.Cole, Pusha T, Mike Posner and Teyana Taylor as surprise guests for the evening. Yeezy dropped in for the encore, G.O.O.D. Music's Cruel Summer track "Clique." But, the evening had a bigger purpose: Big Sean (nee Sean Anderson) introduced his new non-profit Sean Anderson Foundation that will focus on the "education, health, safety and well-being of Detroit area school-aged youth."

"I want to use my awareness to improve the situations in our school systems in particular. Many schools in Detroit have been closing or are in danger of closing," explains Big Sean. "My school played an integral part of making me the man I am today and without that education and extra care, I don't know where I would be today. So, I just want to help support the well being of young people in anyway that I can." In other words, be cool and stay in school. Sean's mother, Myra Anderson, will serve as the foundation's president.

Check out Sean performing "Clique" with Kanye West at The Palace in Auburn Hills, MI. Hall of Fame, Sean's sophomore LP, is expected to drop in spring of 2013.
