Bruce Springsteen, Kanye West, The Rolling Stones And More Rock The Stage At Hurricane Sandy Benefit
New York City's Madison Square Garden played host to a whole host of musicians last night with the likes of Kanye West, Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi and The Rolling Stones performing at the Hurricane Sandy '12-12-12' benefit.
Organisers managed to draft in some of the biggest names in music, including several rock legends, for the concert which took place on Wednesday evening, with The Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi and Bruce Springsteen rocking the stage.

"How do I begin again? My city's in ruins?" Springsteen sang as he kicked off the concert alongside the E Street Band, before launching into a speech about the Jersey Shore, which was badly damaged during the disaster.
"It was painful to see it damaged because the Jersey Shore has always been a special place, because its inclusive I pray that that characteristic remains on the Jersey Shore, thats what makes it special," Springsteen said.

Springsteen was later joined by Jon Bon Jovi who performed 'Run To Run' together. The Rolling Stones also performed at the event, getting the crowd moving to You Got Me Rocking before Alicia Keys took to the stage to perform some of her classic hits including latest single 'Girl On Fire.'
A leather kilt-wearing Kanye West also took to the stage to perform 'Clique,' 'Mercy,' 'Jesus Walks,' 'All Of The Lights,' and several other of his smash hit singles.

Other performs included Billy Joel who brought a little festive cheer with 'Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas' and 'New York State of Mind' while The Who played 'Who You Are,' although they may have rattled a few cages by unleashing a few expletives during their set, telling the audience at the end to: "Have a f**king beer!"
Celebrities who contributed to the benefit included Billy Crystal, Chris Rock, Adam Sandler, Jimmy Fallon, Susan Sarandon, Kristen Stewart and Jake Gyllenhaal.
