Report: Kanye West blows off scheduled appearance in Cannes to have intimate dinner with Kim Kardashian

Kanye West is reportedly so smitten with new girlfriend Kim Kardashian that he blew off a planned performance while in Cannes to debut his short film Cruel Summer.

After premiering his film, which stars Kid Cudi, he was planned to appear at a surprise appearance along with the star of his 30-minute film at Provocateur pop-up nightclub in Canne, which is in the Gotha Club in the Palm Beach Casino, but he chose to have an intimate dinner with the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star instead.

The New York Daily News reports that West and Kardashian did show up at the event but quickly left to spend some one-on-one time together.

Kid Cudi did end up performing with G.O.O.D music label signee Big Sean, without West, and guests in the audience included Wests Watch the Throne collaborator Jay-Z.

West and Kardashian dined at Le Baoli, which is said to be a romantic restaurant at the end of the French Riviera, which serves Balinese food.

Showbizspy has reported that sources say that West is desperate to make Kardashian his wife, although shes still legally married to Kris Humphries.

On more than one occasion he said, Kim, will you marry me? Hed be dead serious if shed say yes, a source explained. I think he believes if he asks her 100 times, then eventually shell say yes.
