Kim Kardashian: 'Kanye West and I talk about marriage'
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star announced on December 30 that she will give birth to her and West's first child later this year, calling her pregnancy a "blessing".
Kim appeared on Today on Tuesday (January 14) and was asked extensively about the status of her and West's relationship.
"[Marriage is] something that we talk about, but I think it's just right now [we're] focusing on the baby," she admitted.
"What I've learned in life is - I was always such a planner and... you think your life is going to be a certain way, and the best surprises just happen when you don't plan."
The reality star also acknowledged that she never actually expected to get pregnant because she has had fertility issues similar to those which have plagued her sister Khloe Kardashian.
"Khloe has been very open about her fertility issues and I think I was always really kind of quiet about mine, and I have similar issues, and so it was a pleasant surprise when so many doctors were telling me one thing and then the opposite happens," she explained.
"That's an exciting moment; you can't plan for things like that. So I think it's just such a blessing knowing my circumstances."
It was reported last week that Kim is attempting to stay in good shape throughout her pregnancy with the help of trainer Tracy Anderson.
Her series Kourtney & Kim Take Miami premieres its new season on January 20.
