Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West has reportedly suffered a minor dip in popularity since he started dating reality television star Kim Kardashian last year.

According to reports, a weekly poll shows his buzz has slightly decreased just weeks after announcing Kim K's pregnancy.

We have some good news and bad news for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. Let's start with the bad news. Since they officially began dating in April, Kanye's popularity has dipped ten points, according to E Poll, which puts out E-Score Celebrity weekly. So it appears the rumors are true -- the reality star has adversely affected the rapper's popularity. But, here's the good news. An E Poll spokesman tells RumorFix exclusively, it wasn't as drastic a plunge as Kris Humphries took when he married the Kourtney And Kim Take Miami star. And, many of the respondents who wrote comments say they are still mad at Kanye for the Taylor Swift debacle at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards -- not so much about Kim. E-Score Celebrity is conducted weekly among a representative sample of 1,100 respondents ages 13 plus. (RumorFix)

Last month, a gossip insider said Kim K is having a negative impact on Ye's career.

An insider explained: "His personal life is overpowering his music. Every time he plays, people are wondering if Kim is going to be there. It's not a good thing for him, especially if he wants to be taken seriously." His relationship has taken over so much of his identity, that party promoters only want him to host events if Kim promises to comes along! The offers have supposedly "offended" Kanye and although he declined them, he has been known to give in in the past, such as appearing on Keeping Up With The Kardashians! However, from poor ticket sales to some not-so-positive reviews, things do not seem to be going too well! Though Kanye seems happily loved up with Kimmy, he's been allegedly "meeting with top-level music executives" to come up with a plan to revive his music and influence. Kim's career, on the other hand, seems to be doing just fine while dating the rapper! (Perez Hilton)

Recently, G.O.O.D. Music's Common dished out some baby advice for KimYe.

"You gon' see the world differently but those experiences will come to them," he says. "There's nothing I can tell them specifically on how it'll be but I send my love and congratulations to them." He also passed along an insider tip about dealing with the sleepless nights of baby wailing. "Somebody I worked with was telling me how you [could] allow your kid to cry for a night or two without going in there and they adjust to it." (VIBE)

Mr. West broke t! he baby-o! n-the-way buzz to thousands of fans late last month.

The rapper announced at a concert Sunday night that his girlfriend is pregnant. He told the crowd of more than 5,000 at Revel Resort's Ovation Hall in song form: "Now you having my baby." The crowd roared. And so did people on the Internet. The news instantly went viral on Twitter and Facebook, with thousands posting and commenting on the expecting couple. (CBS News)
