After working away in Paris, France these past few weeks, rap star Kanye West finally gave New York paparazzi a chance to capture him in their lens as he invaded Manhattan with pregnant girlfriend Kim Kardashian.

While out in the Big Apple, Mr. West also linked up with his Watch the Throne sidekick Jay-Z.

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian reunited on Monday afternoon in New York City. The couple were spotted shopping in the SoHo district, leaving Isabel Marant's upscale women's boutique. An army of photographers followed the mother-to-be and Mr. West, who ran into Jay-Z as they shared a laugh for a brief moment. (Miss Info TV)

A few days ago, reports surfaced which claimed Ye has spent around $100,000 in travel expenses to see Kim K through her pregnancy.

Kanye West is doing everything he can to support Kim Kardashian during her pregnancy -- even though he's in Paris working -- and it's costing six figures to do it ... TMZ has learned. Kanye has been travelling abroad the past few months -- for events, performances and to reco! rd a new album -- but is still hitting up Kim's doctor's appointments. We're told Kanye has made at least three trips via private jet from Paris to L.A. (costing about $100k total) so that he can be in attendance for Kim on her checkups. Our sources say Kanye even reaches out to the doctors beforehand to discuss the appointments and to make certain his schedule allows him to be there. According to our sources, Kanye has also flown Kim out to Paris on a private jet so they could spend extra time together before Kim is set to give birth in July. (TMZ)

Last week, buzz heated up the Internet about Kanye returning from Paris to see Kim and to possibly take part in an upcoming airing of "Saturday Night Live."

Kanye West is due back in the States next month, Page Six has exclusively learned, but it's not necessarily to rush to the side of his very pregnant reality star girlfriend, Kim Kardashian. Sources tell us the rapper -- who's been working on a new album in France -- will appear as musical guest on "SNL" on May 18. West's been holed up in a palatial pad ever since Paris fashion week in February, leaving his baby mama alone to brave pregnancy and public scrutiny over her weight, maternity fashions and upcoming divorce trial with Kris Humphries. Sources tell us the rapper's even pondering a permanent move to Paris. An NBC rep would only say the show hasn't announced its lineup. (New York Post)
